This textual overlay is positioned across your medium and large sized images, and is performed on your selection of images at once. - This feature is available from within the gallery view of images inside your Picture Gallery administration area.

This feature is useful if you would like to overlay a textual copy right notice across the images which are available from your site. - Should you publish graphical material which you wish to stress is not for re-use this provides a quick and easy way to make sure your visitors are aware of this.

Currently the feature places a grey coloured text at the top, middle and bottom of each picture. - If required we will happily extend the options in this feature to allow site administrators to choose which of these three positions they would like to use. - We have defaulted to use the three positions and also the grey colour so that it would suit most styles of images; photos with black or white borders, paintings etc all clearly show this text.

The default textual string which is overlaid contains a copyright notice, and your company's name. - This text can however be altered to whatever you like.

If you plan to try this feature, we strongly recommend that you first COPY your images into a new gallery, and perform your tests on the copied images. - There is no 'undo' for this feature, if you make a spelling error or choose the wrong images, they are changed for good.
